AFTER-LABs are a dedicated time of intense focus on a particular interest. The same interest is explored over a series of three sessions. Each session meets once a week, on the same day each week, for three consecutive weeks. Each AFTER-LABs session will begin after school dismisses for the day. All attendees are required to bring a lunch. Dismissal time is 2:15PM and follows the established Stay Day pick-up procedure. Each series is $45/child. Children must be at least 36 months old and independently potty trained. Enrollment is made on a first paid basis because SPACE IS LIMITED. Current families may download registration forms from the Preschool Forms area on the Parent Website. All proceeds raised will support teacher professional development.

Children may opt to attend one or BOTH series, even if it is not their regular day of attendance. Payment of $45 per series is due upon registration, and is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Collage & Assemblage

Thursdays: September 14, 21, 28
Fridays: September 15, 22, 29

Drawing inspiration from artists such as Eric Carle and Henri Matisse, our exploration of collage will begin with simple geometric shapes and a focus on creating contrasts in color and texture. We will use both natural ad man-made materials to cut, tear, glue, and layer our way through several projects, building skills and complexity as we go.

Take Apart & Make It

Thursdays: November 2, 9, 16
Fridays: November 3, 10, 17

Young children love to take things apart! It is really exciting to see what is inside an everyday object. We will be taking things apart and then creating our own inventions. Join in the fun as we break it and then make it!
